Designed with more volume and cut than the standard Carbony High D, this new Session Whistle is the instrument the market has been waiting for. A wonderful, powerful yet sophisticated sound – and fully tuneable. This has it all.

Going from looks alone – it’s subtle, cool and slick. At first glance – and at a distance – it may be confused for a budget whistle. On closer more detailed inspection you will find an unassuming subtle check design texture for the body with some particularly detailed work on the head. You won’t find many others in your local session with one of these.

If you bought a whistle in a precious wood – it would sound like this! The thin wall process of this tapered whistle design gives warm response in the lower octave. When playing with other instruments these notes are rarely heard, but not with Carbony TM composite! The Carbony enhances lower frequencies and mutes upper register shrillness producing a volume balance in all registers.

The whistle incorporates a two piece self aligning design that facilitates machining of all geometries to 0.001″ accuracy (patent pending).

The two piece assembly also facilitates optimal material selection. The blade/body is machined from aluminum and anodized for hardness, creating a stiff precise blade for maximum oscillation. The tip/windway is machined from marbled ebonite, the same material used to make saxophone and clarinet mouthpieces. Safe to put in mouth and durable enough to have a lifetime makers warranty.
