Big Whistle Music began in 2000 with the aim of supplying whistlers worldwide with the finest instruments available, from the best makers in the industry.

The brainchild of Phil Brown, known by many simply as ‘The Whistle Man,’ the business was taken over by folk music enthusiasts Michael Sandford, James Pannell and David O’Hagan in 2021.

Operating from the ‘Steel City’ – Sheffield, UK – we carry forward the mission of supplying a carefully curated selection of the finest whistles on the market to whistle enthusiasts across the globe, offering only the best products and the most conscientious service possible.
